Request addresses of doctors / therapists

Request addresses of doctors / therapists

Do you know doctors/therapists with ADHD expertise or would you like to give feedback?

In the interest of all people with ADHD, you can use this link to register professionals with whom you have had good or bad experiences regarding ADHD (at the moment, we do only collect adresses from Germany, Switzerland and Austria):
Here we collect addresses of doctors, psychologists and other specialists with ADHD expertise.

Are you looking for addresses of doctors/therapists with ADHD expertise?

1. Then you’ve come to the right place :-)

1.1. 32.418 Addresses in Germany

We list 32,418 addresses in Germany (as of 01.07.2025); we know that around 2,600 of them treat or diagnose ADHD; the others could do so based on their specialty. We have entered several thousand pieces of feedback from our users. Thanks to all of them!
We also have over 1000 addresses in Austria and almost 300 addresses in Switzerland that treat or diagnose ADHD. The expansion of the Austrian and Swiss addresses is on our to-do list.
We will be happy to email you a table with 50 ADHD addresses and a further 40 potential ADHD addresses if you agree to provide feedback on the addresses you have contacted at a later date. The table is sorted by distance to from an (existing) zip code And also contains the experiences of our users with these addresses.
The instructions for requesting addresses can be found below.

With the additional 31,500 addresses that could potentially treat or diagnose ADHD, we could cut the Gordian knot of massive underuse in Germany. That would be a blessing for everyone.
To do this, we need your feedback on the addresses you have contacted as to whether these addresses are active on ADHD. This is super easy with the feedback link sent with each address. More on this below.

1.2. Choice of category, target group and billing possible

You can now select the requested addresses more precisely:

  • by category (doctor, psychotherapist, clinic, outpatient clinic, other)
  • according to target group (children / young people or adults)
  • after billing (cash or private)

This makes the request process a little more complex, but provides much better matching addresses.
You can find the instructions below.
Take a deep breath and read it all the way through - it’s worth it :-)

1.3. Addresses in mail as list and table as attachment

So far, all addresses have been sent as a table - once in the mail and once as an attachment.
We now send the addresses in the mail itself as a list. This makes them easier to read on a cell phone. The Excel table is still available in addition.

2. Giving feedback

Since addresses are only useful if they are constantly updated, we ask you in return to agree to share your experience with the addresses you have submitted with us after you have contacted them and gained experience.

2.1. Giving feedback is very simple

  • Each address in the table that you receive has its own link in its row. The link opens a web form in which this address is already pre-filled.
  • You can easily add reviews and experiences in the fields provided in the web form:
    • Stars from 1 (bad) to 5 (good) in the 4 areas:
      • ADHD competence in general
      • ADHD diagnostics
      • ADHD medication and
      • ADHD psychotherapy
    • Positive or negative experiences as text
    • You can simply overwrite changed address data or telephone numbers in the form with new data.
    • Please no reports about closed or long waiting lists. We do not know when they are open again..
  • Of course you can also enter completely new addresses in the web form. Every address helps!
  • Wait until you have gained experience with the addresses. We will remind you of the feedback from time to time.
  • In the web form, enter the e-mail address to which you received the address e-mail so that we do not remind you of the feedback again. The links from the tables already transfer your e-mail address to the feedback form.

2.2. NEW: Since 05.10.24: simple feedback on whether addresses for ADHD are active or not and/or inactive

We do not know whether there are around 31,500 addresses in Germany that could treat ADHD. However, the opportunity to massively increase the pool of addresses working on ADHD and thus break through the drastic shortage of ADHD treatment was worth many months of work.
If you contact such an address, you can use the feedback link to the respective address to easily return this information (check the box at the top of the form that the link opens) - this would help all other people with ADHD to find suitable addresses.
Together we are strong: One for all, all for one!

3. Mail us in the following form to receive addresses

Your mail is processed by people who spend their free time on it. Software merely supports us in this.
We therefore look forward to receiving a friendly e-mail.

This is how you write an e-mail:

  • To: Info@adxs.org
  • From: A non-anonymous e-mail address (we only use your e-mail to remind you of the feedback. But we would like to receive that too…)
  • Subject: Write in the subject “Exchange your addresses for my later feedback” This is the code with which you agree to give feedback
  • Mail text
    • A few nice words to the person answering your mail would be nice.
    • Zip code: Enter a maximum of one (1) complete, existing zip code around which the addresses are searched,
    • in format
      • D-00000 (for Germany, with the D- in front) or
      • A-0000 (for Austria, with the A- in front) or
      • CH-0000 (for Switzerland, with the CH- in front).
So please use D-00000 and not 00000 :-) Instead of the zeros, please use the zip code for which you are looking for addresses ;-)
We cannot answer inquiries without a postal code.
    • Optional category filters
      • With these codes in the mail text (exactly these character strings with the # Character at the beginning and at the end, without spaces in between) you can restrict the addresses to:
        • #Doctor# Only doctors can prescribe medication; doctors can also diagnose
        • #Psychotherapist# You can find addresses of medical psychotherapists (specialists in psychotherapy) and psychological psychotherapists. Psychotherapists can diagnose and provide psychological treatment.
        • #Clinic# Clinics (also rehabilitation clinics)
        • #Outpatient clinic# Clinics that provide outpatient treatment
        • #Other# You can use this string to request the addresses of occupational therapists, speech therapists, coaches, psychologists (not psychotherapists), social pediatric centers and others.
        • Optional means: If you do not name a category, you will receive addresses from all categories
    • Optional target group filters
      • With these codes in the mail text (exactly these character strings with the # Character at the beginning and at the end and without spaces in between) you can restrict the addresses to:
        • #KiJu# Only addresses that diagnose and/or treat children / adolescents
        • #Adults# Only addresses that diagnose and/or treat adults
        • Optional means: If you do not specify a target group, you will receive addresses for all target groups.
    • Optional billing filter
      - #Fund# No addresses that are known to only bill privately
      - Optional means: If you do not name #Kasse#, you will also get private practices.

Here is a hypothetical example:

From: Michaela.Mustermann@meinwebdienst.de
To: info@adxs.org
Subject: Exchange your addresses for my later feedback

Hello lovelies,
you have done a lot of work, thank you :-)
I would like to have addresses for
D-60322
#Doctor#
#Outpatient clinic#
#Adults#
#Cash register#

Best regards, Michaela

We would send Michaela the 50 ADHD addresses and 40 potential ADHD addresses of the doctors and outpatient clinics that treat adults closest to the zip code 60322 in Germany and exclude those that only bill privately.
If she had left out #adults#, she would also have received addresses of doctors and outpatient clinics that treat children and adolescents.
If she had instead left out #doctor# And #clinic outpatient#, she would have received additional addresses of psychotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists etc. who treat adults.
If she had left out #Kasse#, she would also have received the private practices.

Your e-mail will be read and answered by us, whereby the addresses are selected using software based on your details.
We usually ship every 2 to 3 days.

Your e-mail address will of course not be used for advertising or other purposes, nor will it be passed on.

There is a link in the email that you can use to make a donation.
This way you can support our charitable work.
However, sending the address is not dependent on a donation.

If you have not received an e-mail after one week:

  • Look in your spam folder
  • Make sure that your mailbox is not overfilled so that it can accept mails.
  • University mail systems often do not allow Excel spreadsheets as attachments.
Please use a different e-mail address.

Good luck :-)
